| In 1965, Jim Hommer saw the future in plastics and decided to make that future his own. After completing a four year apprenticeship as a mold maker, he went on to serve the industry for the next eighteen years. Then, in 1983, Hommer discovered that he could better serve the industry by forming his own company dedicated to manufacturing round inserts for the injection molding industry.
